When the school year ends, some children no longer have access to nutritious foods. Food insecurity exists in every county in America. In 2013, 17.5 million households were food insecure.
Local credit unions (Bay Atlantic FCU, Campbell Federal Credit Union, Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union, Members 1st Federal Credit Union, and Thunderbolt Area Federal Credit Union) are coming together again to hold our annual Kid-Friendly Food Drive!
From May 1st through June 30th kid-friendly food donations brought to Bay Atlantic FCU’s main office will be donated to the Vineland Salvation Army to benefit children in our community this coming summer.
Most Needed Items Include:
Peanut Butter & Jelly
Canned Pasta
Canned Soups
Macaroni & Cheese
Pasta
Cereal
Oatmeal
Pancake Mix
Granola Bars
Fruit Cups
Raisins or Craisins
Juice Boxes
Any brand, size, or flavor of kid-friendly foods are greatly appreciated!
