Join our Supervisory Committee!

We're looking for a volunteer to serve on our supervisory committee.

The Supervisory Committee is comprised of members of the credit union who voluntarily serve to monitor the soundness of the credit union and the assets of our members. The committee regularly performs internal and external audits of the credit union in many areas. Their overall responsibility is to observe and evaluate the quality of credit union finances, operations, and decisions.

Requirements for joining the Supervisory Committee include:

• Must be a current member and will serve in a volunteer capacity

• Must be bondable by the credit union's surety bond company

• Must be able to make a monthly commitment of 5 hours

  
  

Supervisory Committee Duties and Responsibilities:

• One meeting on the first Thursday of every month that lasts approximately 1-2 hours (may be done in-person or virtually)

• Maintains oversight of credit union operations according to sound business, ethical, and regulatory standards

• Performs audits and verifications of credit union and member records

• Reviews audits performed by third-parties related to credit union and member records

• Completes required training credit union training courses

• Review, disseminate, and delegate for resolution of member complaints as applicable
