Today, our member Ida stopped in to drop off two backpack donations for Vineland Code Blue's Stuff a Backpack Drive. We so appreciate your generosity, Ida!
Now through October 7th, we will be accepting backpack donations in our main office. All donations will be taken directly to Vineland Code Blue on October 10th.
What is Code Blue?
Code Blue is an initiative designed to protect our homeless citizens from frigid and hazardous winter weather conditions. Presently, Code Blue is offered in each major city and operates from November through April each year.
What is Stuff a Backpack?
It is an annual event designed to gather the necessary items to help bring comfort to Code Blue guests. Items obtained during this drive include basic necessities (hygiene products, etc.) Stuff a Backpack is an effort to procure these items and help make the cold winter months a little brighter for our less fortunate neighbors.
