Third Annual CU Food Cooperative to Help Address State Hunger Crisis

At Bay Atlantic FCU, caring for our community goes well beyond financial services. That’s why we’re proud to join 17 credit unions across New Jersey in supporting families who need us most.

Summertime can be especially challenging for many children who rely on school meals throughout the school year. The third annual New Jersey Credit Unions Food Cooperative is stepping in to help fill that gap, and you can be part of the solution!

Through August 31st, we’re collecting nonperishable food items at all our branch locations. Donations made at Bay Atlantic FCU will benefit our SEG Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem Family Support Organization.

Your donations make a real difference. Essential food items with the greatest need include:

• Nutritious snacks

• Low-sugar juice boxes

• Canned fruits & vegetables

• Low-sugar cereals

• Spreads in plastic jars

• Canned protein like tuna & chicken

• Instant potatoes

• Whole grain pasta & rice

• Shelf stable milk & nut milks

• Canned soups & stews
